Mr Traber has taken a new teacher position in another village and will leave Dörfli with Karl. Before he leaves, Karl decides to leave his collection of fossils behind and he organises a scavenger hunt for his friends to get his fossils; the first one to find the box will own the collection. Theresa, who loves Karl in secret and doesn’t want to see him leave, desperately wants the collection and cheats during the scavenger hunt. Heidi will understand this and will get Theresa to confess her feelings to Karl before he leaves.
