Clara arrives in Dörfli for a visit, which is great, but she comes with Miss Rottenmeier, which is not so great for Heidi. They both stay at the Manor as Miss Rottenmeier refuses to live at the cabin (not suitable and not comfortable enough). Heidi and Clara really want to spend as much time as possible together, so they plan to force Miss Rottenmeier to accept to move to the cabin.
When their plan backfires and Miss Rottenmeier decides to go back to Frankfurt, the little girls will need Grandfather’s help to convince Miss Rottenmeier to stay. Eventually, the governess sees how much Clara loves the mountains and she accepts to try and live in the cabin for a while.
