In this video I combine multiple clips of bass chasing down a shad while it's in mid-air. Bass can see extremely well out of the water and track things while it is in the air.

It's been a couple days since the devastating floods of Hurricane Harvey. The pond was 6.8 feet high but somehow the blind bass and the turtles found their way back. The bass ate really well and the turtles were really hungry too.

In this video, Odie is loving the fall weather and devours shad after shad from my hand. The bass and turtles also joined in the feast.

In this video I cast net shad and put them in a big bucket with an aerator to keep them alive. Then I bring them back to the bass and let them go and the bass destroy them. Thank y’all for suggesting this video to me!

I bought one dozen waterdogs (salamander larvae) to feed the bass at a local bait store. Big bass apparently love them so I wanted to see if my pet bass would eat them. They loved them and ate them as soon as they hit the water.
