This is the collection of videos I made today in a creek at lake somerville. The lake is 20 feet high and is backed up two miles away from where it usually is. The gar get really active in newly flooded water and were attacking everything today. I was using a rebel jerkbait and my friend was using a small pop-r. We caught ten each which made for a total of 20. When setting the hook set it low or to the side so it hooks in the soft bottom part of their mouth. We hooked and lost at least 50 more but it was still really fun.
