Here is our soap powered boat that Alex has made from a business card. He cut corners of the card and put soap at the back of the boat. After he placed the boat onto the water, it scooted across. To try that again, we needed to rinse out the tray to remove any soap and add fresh water. Soap breaks down the surface tension of water. As the surface tension is broken up, it creates enough of a force to push our boat across the surface
