We continue exploring multiplication methods, and this one might be the easiest one of them all. It has quite a few names, including "Lattice multiplication", "Chinese method", and "Italian method", making it a bit of an international phenomenon. However, in the core, it is all about using squares to make quick and easy multiplications. I encourage you to try multiplying any two multi-digit numbers with this method and let me know if it is easier than a traditional method or not.
