A beautiful raw chocolate made by Alex with love! This really simple recipe puts you in control of what chocolate your child tries. You can go all organic on it if you want. You can add anything you like to it: raisins, seeds, nuts... you name it! Whatever ingredients you choose, you will definitely taste the difference comparing to store-bought chocolate.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of Coconut Oil (or Raw Cacao Butter)
- 1 cup of Raw Cacao Powder
- 1/2 cup of Maple Syrup
- Pinch of Vanilla Powder
- Pinch of Fine Sea Salt
- Handful of chopped nuts, seeds or dried berries (optional)
I put Coconut Oil in a glass and to melt it I put the glass in a bowl with hot water. Alex mixed all ingredients to make an easy to pour mixture. He then poured the melted chocolate into moulds and I left it in the freezer for about 15 minutes to harden. That was it! Ready to eat straight after that. If you make too much chocolate, make sure you keep it in the fridge otherwise coconut oil might melt (:
