As promised on this special day I am revealing one of many new projects I have included in my debut TheDadLab BOOK.
We turned a photo of Max into a bowl shape for this illusion that shows us how our mind is sometimes convinced that it ‘knows best’, despite what our eyes are telling us. When I turn the face it looks like it continues looking at us. The illusion is possible because, in everyday life, we always see faces that are convex – bulging outwards, not curving inwards. And so our mind interprets what we are seeing that way.
