Want to make a bug friend? I promised this one is very friendly and loves to wiggle around!
MATERIALS:
- Coloured paper
- Scissors⠀
- Glue
INSTRUCTIONS:
(1) Take a thin strip of paper and fold it to make an L shape. Then, start crossing the pieces over. So left to right, and up to down, then right to left and down to up. We’re making a type of accordion effect. If you reach the end of your strip, you can add on more just by glueing two new pieces of paper to the ends. When you’re done, glue down the ends. Make six of these chains all the same length.
(2) Cut out an oval with jagged edges. Glue on eyes in the centre.
(3) Glue our chains to the top of the oval. Your creature is ready!
