This is how I get all of my shad to feed my pet bass. I go to a retention pond every month and load up on them. This time me and my friend caught 25lbs of shad which will last about 3 weeks. I was using an 8 foot super spreader cast net and averaged about 10 shad a throw.

I had a tiny batman pole and wanted to try to catch a big catfish on it. I was using 6lb mono and a hot dog for bait when I hooked up with a nice fish. It got tangled in the lily pads and I had to go in and get him out. He was about 7-8lbs and took a while to land on the batman pole.

These are pet catfish that i have had in my pond for several years.They have gotten huge for channel catfish.The biggest one is about 15 to 17 lbs.The catfish are eating fish pellets that i through out. The catfish grow 3 to 4 pound every year and eat a ton of aquamax fish food. I hope you enjoy!

Me and Bradley catching catfish at his place on the Brazos River. This is a stretch of the brazos river around sealy. It is great for catfish and also has a lot of gar. We were using shad for bait and it worked well for the small catfish in the video. We ended up with six.
