In this video, I bring my fly rod to a local creek to catch gambusia minnows to feed my pet alligator gar! I caught two with the fly rod and then the rest in a dip net and the gar devoured them.

I had an awesome time trout fishing in Colorado and New Mexico the past week. We found a good spot on the cimarron river with me and my dad catching around 25 trout each on fly rod. I caught the trout on either a size 16 dry fly or a flashback size 18 nymph.

In this video, I am fishing a very flooded river and there are gar sitting on the surface. When they are like that they are very aggressive and will eat any lure that goes right in front of it. I ended up catching 5 nice alligator gar on a musky jerkbait and the whopper plopper.
