Today is the season for ripe red berries, and it's Red Berry Day. Huey, who arrived at the meeting place earlier than everyone else, was caught snacking by Grace, and received a scolding. Red Berry Day involves picking red berries together and sharing them among the group. Huey apologized, but didn't take the reprimand seriously. However, when Reggie showed signs of snacking, everyone agreed to eat together. As they gathered red berries, the desire to eat them overwhelmed Huey. He sneakily hid some in a pitcher plant and took them away. While everyone was sharing the berries, Huey hid and indulged himself. However, he tripped in a rush when called by Grace, accidentally breaking a honeypot ant nest. Lured by the red berries, the honeypot ants chased Huey, and everyone followed to help. When Grace realized that they were being chased because of the red berries, he told Huey to drop the pitcher plant. Huey refused, insisting that the red berries were his. Eventually cornered, Huey reluctantly dropped the pitcher plant, escaping from the honeypot ants. Reminded to follow the rules, Huey sincerely reflected on his actions, and the group hurried back to the forest before the left-behind red berries were eaten by the honeypot ants.
