Reggie arrives at a hill where flowers are blooming and finds a caterpillar. Nemi also arrives, viewing the caterpillar only as food. Reggie tells Nemi to wait, explaining that it will become something beautiful. Shuhi comes along and tries to pick a flower with a caterpillar, but Reggie stops him. As they watch, the caterpillar turns into a chrysalis. Reggie and Kenny also arrive. They decide to look for other chrysalises and wait together to witness their transformation into butterflies. Everyone watches as the butterflies emerge from their chrysalises. One butterfly lands on Reggie's nose, as if expressing gratitude, then flies around everyone before soaring into the flower-filled meadow.
