Mary gathers her friends for tea and cherry cake. Lucy decides to create a suitable look for the "cherry" tea party and makes a brooch shaped like cherries. Very soon though the piece of jewelry disappears, and Lucy gets so upset she doesn't want to pay Mary visit anymore.
