Heidi helps Clara as she trains to stand from her wheelchair. When the girls learn that Mr Sesemann, Clara’s father, will arrive later that day, Clara is motivated to show her progress. But an accident just as Mr Sesemann arrives gets Heidi in trouble and Clara is afraid her new friend will be sent away.
