In this activity, we combine science and art! We are making a turmeric pH indicator for acids & bases and drawing a little animation. It's a fun and easy way to learn how lemon juice and washing powder react with turmeric and change its colour. It is an excellent start to learn about the pH scale and its relation to acids and bases.
