Here is a quick discovery bottle I made for Max. It could be used on a long car trip or a flight because of the number of questions I could ask him to find an answer to in the bottle, like what sea creature can you spot there or what blue animals can you find.
I the bottle I mixed animal shaped beads with leftovers of coloured rice from the sensory play we had a while back. But to make your own, you can use any small objects that fit into the bottle and lentils, rice or sand. Just don't forget to take a picture of all object to know what to ask later and make sure you secure the cap with sticky tape or glue
