Inspired by Disney's Frozen 2 and #LEGO, this is a fun challenge to pick up a piece of ice with a string! The secret is to use salt and a bit of Frozen 2 magic (: Wet the string, put it flat on the ice, sprinkle a bit of salt and after ten seconds lift the string up. The ice should have been stuck to the string by then. What happens here is that salt dissolves in a thin layer of water above the ice. Salty water has a lower freezing temperature comparing to freshwater, so it makes ice to melt, absorbing the heat in the process. Ice takes some of that heat from water causing it to freeze back again trapping our string
