Dropshotting for Pond Bass in Winter

Me and Bradley catching catfish at his place on the Brazos River. This is a stretch of the brazos river around sealy. It is great for catfish and also has a lot of gar. We were using shad for bait and it worked well for the small catfish in the video. We ended up with six.

In this video I show how I would rig up to catch the smaller gar species (spotted, longnose and shortnose). I ended catching about 10 gar and a bowfin in the bayou this day.
