It's time to continue singing along to Esther: A Musical Adventure!
Every musical needs a powerful 11 o'clock number! (Theatre Fact: "11 o'clock number" is a term for a big, show-stopping song that occurs late in the second act of a musical. In the song, a character usually makes a big decision that affects the rest of the show!)
In the song "I'm Saying Goodbye," Esther has an epic showdown with God. She is preparing the banquet for King Xerxes, but everything starts going wrong. Frustrated, Esther refuses to take one more step unless God tells her how the story ends. As she wrestles with God, Esther has an important decision to make: Will she choose to say goodbye to her plans and be part of what God is doing?
How would you feel if you were in Esther's shoes? Have you ever had to trust God when you didn't know how things would end?
If you can relate to the situation, then get ready to belt out this show-stopper alongside Queen Esther!
