The adventure continues with the Librarian and Dave as they answer the question, Who is Jesus?
This week, they're diving into what Jesus meant when he said, "I am the good shepherd." When Dave is feeling afraid, the Librarian has just the story to calm his nerves. Using her digital catalogue, she calls upon the talents of the BCL Players (Players! Players!). They bring us a deeply dramatic retelling of when Peter walked on water in Matthew 14:22-33.
We'll learn answers to questions like, Who actually likes mayo and pickle sandwiches? How many disciples can you fit in a tiny boat? And how does Jesus respond to our fear? In this marvelous metaphorical storytime, we'll learn that we can always go to Jesus when we're afraid. A good shepherd never leaves his sheep!
