Huey discovers a strangely shaped tree in the desert. When he approaches and smells it, tar spews out, dirtying the area around his eyes with black marks. Huey, coming up with a prank, decides to trick Kenny. Falling for it, Kenny ends up with tar around his eyes. Laughing Reggieily at Kenny, Huey decides to target Reggie next. Despite Nemi's warning that an angry Tyrannosaurus is scary, Huey, dismissing the advice, says, "It's okay because I'll run away." Reggie arrives, falls for Huey's prank, and ends up with black marks around his eyes too. Huey, unable to contain his laughter at Reggie's unawareness of the tar, is caught when he sees his reflection in the pond. Thinking he's about to be eaten by an angry Reggie, Huey hurriedly apologizes and tries to escape, but to his surprise, Reggie likes the marks around his eyes and is rather pleased. The dinosaurs form a procession, joyfully applying tar just like Reggie and the others. Huey realizes that playing with everyone is more fun than pranking alone.
