One morning, Reggie went to wake Kenny up to have breakfast together, only to find Kenny sleeping inside an eggshell. Kenny slept in the shell he hatched from every night and cherished it as "Tamakara-chan." Reggie teased Kenny about being too big for a child's toy, and during breakfast, annoyed by the teasing, Kenny brought Tamakara-chan and threw it into the lake. Reggie was surprised, thinking Kenny had grown up, but inwardly, Kenny felt down. That night, as Reggie fell asleep listening to Maya's lullaby, he realized that Tamakara-chan was like a lullaby for Kenny. Reflecting on his actions, Reggie decided to find Tamakara-chan and deliver it to Kenny's nest. Discovering the missing Tamakara-chan, Kenny, who had cried himself to sleep, was overjoyed when Reggie returned it. Expressing gratitude, Kenny went back to sleep, comforted by the presence of Tamakara-chan.
