Heidi leaves Clara and takes the train from Frankfurt to Dörfli with Sebastian. Heidi beams at the prospect of seeing Grandfather and Peter again, unaware that exactly at the same time, in Dörfli, Grandfather, who hasn’t received Heidi’s letter, is packing his bags to move back to Italy and take the train to Mayenfeld to sell the Manor to the Kellers. When she reaches Dörfli and understands what’s going on, Heidi will do everything she can to reach Grandfather in Mayenfeld and ask him to come back.
